The whole experiance was lovely, we stayed for our wedding anniversary, so it was great to have some time to ourselves and relax. The food is fantastic, service second to none. Lovely garden area, but there is lots of scope to carry on with the garden impovements, such as the greehouse and veg plot! some extra seating would be good too, but still a lovely place.

The only thing I'd like to say is the hairdryer wasn't near a mirror, the dryer was in the bedside draw, and the mirror was on the opposite wall by the door, too far away to be of any use if drying your hair. Apart from that the room and facilities were great. The other suggestion it would be great if there was room for any beauty treatments or realxing therapies.

    Fabulous

The location was very good, easy to find and quiet. The food was excellent. We had six evening meals at the hotel and both the bar meals and restaurant meals were very good. A nice size bathroom although the shower was barely adequate. Very useful having free wifi network which worked in our room for most of the week and in the public bar and lounge otherwise.

I am responding on behalf of 3 guests that I booked into your hotel last week.Their comments are s ummarised as follows:- 2 of the rooms were totally unsuitable with unsatisfactory bathroom facilities, together with one room with no Wi fi coverage, non working kettle requiring the individual being relocated for the second night of his stay. Staff'@ breakfast were unable to take even the simplest of orders & their was no others in the breakfast area to create any confusion. Staff on check out were not in control of my guests departure re payment for the accomodation & breakfast which had been discussed & pre paid the day before with the necessary details being confirmed on line. The unfortunate thing is that the hotel is ideally positioned geographically for our future use but I cannot see how I can place others at this hotel if my staff''s recent experience is anything to go by. Additionally my gusets found that the menu was expensive & therefore they chose to eat out on both evenings.

    Very good

The room was good value for money

Not enough staff on duty so always waiting for service of some kind or another whether in the bar or restaurant. I felt really sorry for the young girlseving breakfast all alone whilst the receptionist sat doing nothing in full view!!! Poor team spirit possibly?

Accommodation: The five rooms I booked where all in poor decoration, small and crammed with furniture, making it almost impossible, in my room, to circumnavigate the bed to open the rusty window. Food: Based on the various dishes ordered by our party of five over the two nights, it appeared most where deep-fat fried. This must also be said for the breakfasts (I cannot recommend deep-fat-fried mushrooms to start the day).

.Some staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was good and grounds wete pretty.

Room was small, with very little circulation space. Mattress very soft and uncomfortable . Window looked out onto a wall . Shower splitter was broken and kept revertiing to scalding hot water. We went to the breakfast room at 9.30am and they were vacumming the corridors and reception areas. We felt hurried out.

My/Our stay at Weston Hall Hotel was 'most' pleasurable! The Manager (Ian) and his assistant (Sam) were lovely people and, so were 'all' of the staff - cleaners included! Nothing was 'ever' too much trouble!... I would definately recomend this 'beautiful Hotel to anyone & everyone looking for a peaceful break in 'splendiferous' & 'wonderfully' located hotel!!! Sincerely, Roger (James)

Nothing! Everything was fabulous! They (hotel staff) treated us as/like royalty!...

Clean, nice rooms and had free Wifi.

The girls seemed to run around keeping the place going and were friendly whilst it seemed the guys, and it looked like these were supposedly the managers, were mostly miserable and unfriendly. Mostly an impersonal atmosphere..

Well run private hotel. Pleasant staff, good simple food just what you need after a busy day.

It's set in a lovely area, the hotel is a great historic place. We totally enjoyed our stay and will book again. We didn't realise at the time of our booking,(a mistake on my part) that we could have taken our dog. Also in our particular room (I think was 45 at Bulkington Hotel, over looking the front car park) the hair dryer wasn't near to the mirror, and it couldn't be moved because it was fixed through the bedside cabinet.

Even though we really enjoyed out stay, my husband would have prefered to be asked if there was anything his didn't want with his english breakfast, as it came with hash browns and baked beens which his doesn't like. I'm aware we could have mentioned this, but it would be nice to be asked, as part of the service. Hope to be back in 2012.
